The Recreation Advisory Committee meets one Tuesday evening of every month at 7:30pm at Town Hall. The meetings are open to the public, and suggestions are always welcome. Check your Long Hill Township Calendar or the website calendar for dates. Many of our meetings are held virtually.  If you would like to be sent a link to the meeting, please contact us at least one business day ahead of the meeting.

The Recreation Advisory Committee is a group of township volunteers appointed by the Mayor each for a 5 year term. Some of their annual events are: The Halloween Parade, The Stirling Lake Beach Dances, The Memorial Day Town Picnic and Stirling Lake Open House, and the Spring Egg Hunt. Their duties as per Township Ordinance include: (a) Recommend a recreation program, including special events, to the Township Committee; (b) Coordinate with independent recreation groups such as Long Hill Baseball / Softball Association, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey; advise Planning Board regarding recreational facilities; Other duties as assigned by the Township Committee.
